Political parties to participate in plenary session

The Union of Political Scientists of Armenia, summing up the series of hearings on "Key Issues of Public Control of the Elections" held since 30 January 2012, will hold a plenary session at the hall of the UPS Central Office on April 4.

The representatives of six political parties that participated in the sessions and clarified the positions of their parties and alliances have given their consent to take part in the plenary session. Among them are leader of the "Free Democrats" party Khachatur Kokobelyan, representative of Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK) Vardan Oskanyan, leader of "Heritage" Party Raffi Hovhannisian, Armenian National Congress (HAK) Coordinator Levon Zurabyan, the Armenian Revolutionary Federation-Dashnaktsutyun (ARF-D) Supreme Body representative Armen Rustamyan and Vice-Chairman of the Republican Party of Armenia (HHK) Galust Sahakyan.

The plenary session will be broadcast live at www.a1plus.am from 11:00 to 14:00. Journalists will have the chance to attend the opening of the session, after which they will be able to follow up on the session at the computer room. After the plenary session, journalists will be invited to the hall where they will receive answers to their questions during a briefing.

The board of the Union of Political Scientists of Armenia looks forward to adopting important decisions that will register serious progress in the development of a political culture in Armenia and will convey new quality to relations between political parties.
