Heritage Party accuses HAK
Vice Chairman of the opposition Heritage Party Ruben Hakobyan says the opposition failed to name a joint candidate in single-candidate constituencies due to the non-constructive position of the Armenian National Congress (HAK).
Earlier, the Heritage had proposed the HAK to support its five candidates in Yerevan, promising to back the opposition bloc's 8 candidates in Yerevan and 12 candidates in marzes.
"The negotiators did not depict the situation correctly," Mr. Hakobyan said adding that Heritage leader Raffi Hovannisian had agreed to withdraw their candidates from seven election districts without pre-conditions.
In conclusion, the Heritage representative said that his party was ready to fight against election fraud in a united opposition front.
