Armenian Genocide issue to be discussed in Slovakia
Gagik Harutyunyan, Chairman of the Constitutional Court of Armenia and Arman Mkrtumyan, Chairman of the Cassation Court of Armenia, arrived in Slovakia at the invitation of Chairman of Slovakia's Supreme Court Stefan Harabin.
On April 2, they will attend the seminar "Legal Issues of Crimes against Humanity" where Mr. Gagik Harutyunyan will speak on the law criminalizing the denial of the Armenian Genocide.
On Tuesday, April 3, the Armenian officials will meet with the Prosecutor General of the Slovak Republic to discuss issues of mutual interest.
At the office of the Forum of the Armenian Associations of the Europe (FAAE), Gagik Harutyunyan and Arman Mkrtumyan will have meetings with Slovak political figures, including former Prime Minister Jan Charnogurski, First Chairman of the National Council Frantisek Mikloshko, Deputy State Prosecutor General Martin Lauk. The meeting will focus on the Karabakh issue, FAAE press service reports.
