There is no ruling coalition. This is what young members of the political council of the Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK) Tigran Urikhanyan and Vahan Babayan declared during a press conference today.

According to Tigran Urikhanyan, the coalition is "a provisional formulation of political organizations that begins and ends".

"The coalition couldn't last forever. Generally, the BHK is an alternative to the coalition and wants to make reforms," said Tigran Urikhanyan.

New member of the BHK, ex-minister of foreign affairs Vardan Oskanyan yesterday declared that the ruling coalition was formal and that the Republican Party of Armenia (HHK) is solely responsible for the heavy social-economic situation since it has never felt the need of the BHK's votes.

The young BHK members convened the press conference for another purpose. They are offended by certain media that "have spread misinformation according to which Tigran Urikhanyan and Vahan Babayan have submitted challenge petitions, even though they are on the BHK's proportional party list".

"The BHK has high ratings, and what they're doing against the young members is groundless and there is something behind such statements," said Vahan Babayan.
