Composer’s funeral on March 31
The governmental commission established on the occasion of the death of People's Artist of the USSR and the ASSR, recipient of USSR and ASSR State Awards Alexander Harutyunyan held a session headed by Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan today. During the session, RA Minister of Culture Hasmik Poghosyan presented the preparatory activities for the funeral procession.
The governmental commission informs that the mass requiem will be held on March 30 at the St. Hovhannes Church in Yerevan.
On March 31, the last farewell to Alexander Harutyunyan will be held at the National Academic Theater of Opera and Ballet in Yerevan on March 31 and will be followed by the funeral procession at Komitas Pantheon.
