Deputy recalls the General’s moustache
Deputy of the Republican Party of Armenia (HHK) Hamlet Harutyunyan says leader of the Land Defenders' Union Manvel Grigoryan has the moral right to be on the HHK's proportional party list.
"We have to be tolerant toward our national heroes. I don't know what kind of disputes you're having with me...Then, you'll say he doesn't have a good moustache, he has to shave it off...that has nothing to do with it," said Harutyunyan when asked why Manvel Grigoryan was on the HHK party list.
As for the criticism claiming that the HHK didn't fulfill its promise and included businessmen in its party lists, Harutyunyan said:
"Samvel Alexanyan considers himself unemployed and legally proves that he is unemployed. We said there wouldn't be businessmen, and people abided by the law. They have handed their businesses over to the government."
