Ombudsman’s Office receives alarm
Representatives of the RA Ombudsman's Office have received an alarm about a family being thrown out of a half-built building located at the back of the first instance court of general jurisdiction of Shengavit district.
In an interview with "A1+", Head of the Public Relations Department of the RA Ombudsman's Office Nara Karmirshalyan reported that a family had started construction near the court.
"That family has no document stating that the land is its property. The municipality demanded that the family stop construction, but it didn't listen. Municipality officials went to stop construction and evacuate the citizens. The construction is incomplete. It is a small house, probably a one-bedroom house," said Nara Karmirshalyan.
The employees of the RA Ombudsman's Office asked the residents to submit an appeal to the office so that the Office could start a proceeding.
"After they submitted the appeal, we were able to examine and find out how legal or illegal the construction was. We will give them a response within ten days," said Nara Karmirshalyan.
