Restoring Sanahin depot

The South Caucasus Railways CJSC is still rebuilding the Sanahin mechanized depot. Restorative efforts were launched on the basis of the Sanahin depot in October 2011, and such large-scale efforts at the depot were made in the 1960s.

The reconstruction is being held in two stages. The first stage includes the renovation and restoration of the depot building and production units, the construction of two cranes, the renovation of different parts, particularly hydro-pneuma and electronic devices and the provision of technical equipment.

The second stage includes the installment of special technical equipment, the construction of a special cover designed for the renovation and installment of large railway equipment. It is also envisages to renovate the administrative building where there will be areas for employees and a classroom for teaching drivers, reports the Company's press service.
