S. Sargsyan congratulates Minsk Group co-chairing countries
Serzh Sargsyan sent congratulatory messages to the Presidents of the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairing countries - Dmitry Medvedev of Russia, Barack Obama of the United States and Nicolas Sarkozy of France - on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the Minsk Process of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe.
Serzh Sargsyan expressed gratitude for the consistent efforts of the co-chairing countries and their Presidents towards the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict over the past 20 years.
Underlining that although the main objective of the Minsk process - the final resolution of the conflict - has not yet been reached, Serzh Sargsyan noted that it's impossible to overestimate the great work the Minsk Group Co-Chairs have been doing during the past 20 years to bring the positions of the parties closer, work out the basic principles, release the tension and maintain peace.
Serzh Sargsyan assured them that Armenia is greatly interested in the final settlement of the issue and will continue its positive and constructive involvement in the processes of peaceful settlement of the Karabakh issue within the framework of the Minsk Group for the sake of stability and security in the region and a better future for the peoples.
