Hakob Hakobyan in defense of Sukiasyan?
Former deputy of the National Assembly Hakob Hakobyan has filed an appeal to the Ombudsman's Office with the request to find out why his opponent Seyran Saroyan is registered as a candidate in the parliamentary elections and not Khachatur Sukiasyan.
According to the former deputy, Seyran Saroyan has also been out of the country, but he hasn't been denied participation in the elections due to his absence.
We remind that Seyran Saroyan is running at precinct N 19, and his opponent is Hakob Hakobyan. Seyran Saroyan is supported by the Republican Party of Armenia (HHK).
The Ombudsman's Office told "A1+" that it would proceed with and study the appeal in accordance with the established procedure.
The electoral commission of precinct N 11 in Yerevan also hasn't registered Eduard Madatyan from the "Country of Law" Party (OEK) Eduard Madatyan as a candidate, but the latter's brother, Grigor Madatyan will be running in the elections.
