Police officer to be apprehended
The trial of Armenian National Congress (HAK) member Vardges Gaspary has been postponed to April 5.
The court was supposed to continue the trial of the criminal case instigated against Vardges Gaspari, who is charged with hooliganism, and the eyewitness police officers were supposed to give their testimonies.
In the beginning, Judge of the court of general jurisdiction of the Kentron and Nork-Marash districts Mkhitar Papoyan announced the appeal filed by police officer Arshak Arakelyan.
Arakelyan had asked the court to examine the case in his absence since he had family problems and couldn't participate in the trial.
The judge was surprised to see that this was written by a police officer, didn't consider the absence of the police officer acceptable and took a decision to apprehend him.
