Bomb explodes outside Indonesian embassy in Paris
A parcel bomb has exploded outside the Indonesian embassy in Paris, causing serious damage to surrounding buildings but no injuries.
The bomb exploded shortly before dawn at 5:45am local time, when the streets of western Paris were relatively quiet, blowing out windows in a 54 yard radius and setting fire to two cars.
A Paris police official said an employee at the embassy discovered a suspicious package and stepped back in time before exploded. There was minor damage to a window but no injuries, the official said.
Investigators have already found several eyewitnesses who saw three persons approaching the embassy building and placing something on its façade. The blast was heard in a couple of minutes.
Police are on site at the embassy in an elegant neighborhood of western Paris.
So far no terrorist organization has taken responsibility for the attack.
