Coordinator or Tapan Independent Experts Association Gegham Nazaryan said the following as he touched upon the issue of whether the Republican Party of Armenia (HHK) and Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK) would form another coalition after the parliamentary elections or not:

"To a great extent, the formation of coalitions is negative, but until then, from the political and ethical angle, there is a need for a logical termination of the existing coalition. Today we have to come to grips with the fact that the government has been pressuring Gagik Tsarukyan's political party through the police and the state apparatus for the past couple of months.

Thousands of BHK members are "offered" to leave Tsarukyan's party with the threat of dismissal from their jobs. Ask members of the BHK how they have been working and how they have been pressured over the past year and they will tell you in detail. This was not the spirit of the coalition and partnership. To a great extent, the BHK Congress was the result of all the pressures against the political party in the past year," said Nazaryan.
