NZhK leader: "We shall meet in the street"
On March 16, the Free Democrats party convened its second congress which was attended by all political parties with the exception of the ruling coalition forces.
Armenia's ex-foreign minister Vartan Oskanian, who is now a member of the Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK), also participated at the congress as an analyst.
"If the elections are rigged as the previous ones, we shall meet in the street," leader of the New Times party (NZhK) Aram Karapetyan said in his speech.
The speech of Conservative Party leader Mikael Hayrapetyan reminded a wish rather than an address.
"I want the Free Democrats to be able to open KGB archives," he said.
"We are going to move rocks together," Heritage party leader Raffi Hovannisian said in his remarks about entering into an alliance with the Free Democrats.
Free Democrats leader Khachatur Kokobelyan was the last to speak. He said they would try to stay away from criticism.
"Our nation does not need reforms, we need changes. We must not change the country, we must overthrow its leadership," he said.
