Tamamyan’s court hearing adjourned
The trial of former head of the Central Department of Criminal Investigation of the RA Police Hovhannes Tamamyan has been postponed.
The court adjourned the sitting after Arayik Alvandyan, new lawyer of defendant Armen Poghosyan, asked the judge for 1-day trial delay to prepare for the case.
The next sitting is set for March 15.
Hovhannes Tamamyan is charged with Article 308 (Part 2) of the Armenian Criminal Code (abuse of official authority). He was placed under arrest on March 24, 2011.
