500 women go on strike demanding wage revision
About 500 female employees of Yerevan's former Garun garment factory have gone on strike demanding revision of their wages.
The employees state they are not even paid the meager minimum wage of 32,000 drams and receive 7000-25000 drams a month.
The protesters say they will not return to work unless the factory administration promises to raise their wages to 50000 drams.
