"The elections in Russia have troubled the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe," U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton declared.

"As the OSCE representatives clearly mentioned, the recent presidential elections in Russia are a matter of concern. There is a need to lead an investigation and give solutions to the issues," Clinton said during a joint press conference with Polish Minister of Foreign Affairs Radek Sirkorsky.

In addition, the U.S. Secretary of State mentioned that the United States was concerned about the arrests of participants of the protest held early this week.

"In any case, it is clear who won in the elections," Clinton emphasized, adding: "We will be ready to collaborate with President-elect Putin after he gives his oath and assumes his obligations as President," Clinton said, reports the Voice of America.
