Zvartnots given 7 days
The workers' strike that Armavia Airlines started and ended today might continue.
"Anything is possible as long as there haven't been any price changes," head of Armavia's press service Nana Avetisova told "A1+".
Avetisova informed that Armavia organizes 100 flights a week and demands a change in the pricing policy. The company doesn't mention any figures because it considers this a business secret.
Only after the talks between Zvartnots Airport and the Civil Aviation did Armavia's flights get back on track. According to Armavia's press secretary, the company has agreed to reorganize the flights until March 13, and until then, Zvartnots has to revise the prices.
"Unlike other airline companies, Armavia has special, lower prices," said head of Zvartnots Company's press service Gevorg Abrahamyan.
Due to the workers' strike, Armavia postponed the Yerevan-Rostov and Yerevan-Moscow flights, leaving passengers in a state of uncertainty and making them wait for several hours.
"All passengers were provided with food and water," said Nana Avetisova.
The passengers waiting at Zvartnots Airport mentioned that they were in a state of uncertainty. After waiting for several hours, many passengers decided to go home. However, they were called back and asked to return.
Some passengers didn't wait and returned their tickets.
It is still unclear as to how many people will complain and demand compensation.
