Sharmazanov meets Narishkin
On March 3, Vice-Chairman of the RA National Assembly Eduard Sharmazanov participated in the meeting of the CIS Inter-Parliamentary Assembly in St. Petersburg.
On the same day, the NA Vice-Chairman held private talks with Chairman of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Sergey Narishkin. Sharmazanov mentioned that Armenia was interested in the holding of fair and democratic elections corresponding to international standards in Russia. The sides attached importance to the Armenian-Russian strategic partnership and the cooperation between the parliaments of both countries.
At the end of the meeting, the NA Vice-Chairman donated monument expert Samvel Karapetyan's book "Памятники армянской культуры в зоне Нагорного Карабаха" ("Memoirs of Armenian Culture in the Nagorno-Karabakh Zone") to the Chairman of the State Duma, reports the NA Department of Information and Public Relations.
