Environmentalists won’t participate in HAK march
Environmentalists haven't been leaving Mashtots Park for the past 20 days now. They are fighting against the placement of the trade stands at the park near Mashtots Avenue after being demolished on Abovyan Street.
Environmental activist Meri Khachatryan, who is currently at the park, told "A1+" that everything was peaceful, there was nothing unusual happening and that there were fewer police officers.
"I only see two or three police officers here, and some are at the café located near the park. The environmentalists are reminding citizens of the way the park used to look through flyers," said Meri Khachatryan.
When asked whether the environmental activists would join the Armenian National Congress's (HAK) rally today, Meri Khachatryan said: "There is no such program on our agenda".
On March 3, the environmentalists at Mashtots Park will hold a debate over this ecological issue in Armenia.
