The Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK) will participate in the upcoming parliamentary elections with the platform of the Armenian Pan-National Movement (HHSh). This is what Armenian National Congress (HAK) representative Bagrat Asatryan declared during a press conference today.

"Please open the platform-charter of the HHSh, compare them and then come and see me," Asatryan mentioned.

The HAK member did see some differences and didn't consider that plagiarism.

Asatryan is mainly aware of the platforms of the major political parties and assures that they are all the same.

Bagrat Asatryan says Robert Kocharyan has something to do with the distortion of the political field.

"I will claim that Robert Kocharyan sold the centuries-old political party to the Ramkavars, the Abrahamyan family and made an attempt to sell the Dashnaktsutyun to the well-known Vardanyan family business."

Asatryan warned his Republican opponent Artak Davtyan to let the people hold normal elections and that the HAK was barely able to hold the people back from aggression.

Artak Davtyan didn't respond to Asatryan's call, but he did mention that he was against violence and underlined that the government was against it as well.

"I don't think the authorities will organize March 1 again," said the deputy of the ruling Republican Party.

Asatryan stressed that those blaming him and Ter-Petrosyan for not seizing power on 26 February 2008 and warned that now he was aware that the society was in despair and that it would be hard to hold the people back in case of falsified elections.
