Serzh Sargsyan has needed and needs help, say deputies of the "Heritage" faction.

"We have extended the helping hand that the leader of the country was asking for. We propose the transition to the 100-percent proportional electoral order. Even though that is not a 100-percent remedy for the solution to other issues, but it will ensure free, fair and transparent elections and will bring us closer to the solution," said Deputy of "Heritage" Party Armen Martirosyan.

The National Assembly today discussed "Heritage" Party's issue on making the transition to the 100-percent proportional electoral order during a special session.

"We have been expressing the same position over and over," said Republican Deputy David Harutyunyan.

Even though "Heritage" organized the special discussion on the issue, the ARF-D supported the party.

Vice-Chairman of the National Assembly Samvel Balasanyan, who was elected and is preparing to get elected through the majoritarian electoral order, spoke on behalf of the Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK).

"The BHK agrees with the 100-percent proportional electoral order. My opinion is that it is still too early and I think it would be wrong to change the rules of the game at this moment," said Samvel Balasanyan.

BHK Deputy Naira Zohrabyan added that the party's leader Gagik Tsarukyan has called on everyone to vote by their will and based on their convictions.
