BHK going to involve young people on its list
The Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK) is for the generation change in the political arena and is going to use the principle in the formation of its party list.
During today's meeting with journalists, BHK MP Vahe Enfiadjyan said at least 20% of their candidates will be young people.
His opponent Anush Sedrakyan from the recently formed Free Democrats Party said it is highly important to focus on the quality and transparency of pre-election lists.
"It is high time that the country moved away from personality-based politics to issue-based elections where decisions are made by the majority and not leaders," she said.
Representative of the Armenian National Congress (HAK) Samvel Abrahamyan said the Congress views the elections as a means to demand Serzh Sargsyan's resignation.
The HAK member says in order to restore the constitutional order they can either form a majority in parliament and raise the issue of impeachment or make the authorities step down under public pressure.
