Opposition’s top three candidates already known
The pre-election list of the Armenian National Congress will be topped by Armenia's First President, HAK Leader Levon Ter-Petrosyan, Chairman of the People's Party of Armenia (HZhK) Stepan Demirtchyan and Chairman of the Republic (Hanrapetutyun) Party Aram Sargsyan.
"Though the list is not final, the heads of the 18 political parties affiliated with the opposition bloc have unanimously agreed to this version," HAK senior member Samvel Abrahamyan told A1+.
Aravot.am posted on Thursday an article in which it said the bloc's list will be led by Chairman of the National Armenian Movement (HHSh) Aram Manukyan, Chairperson of the Social Democrat Hunchakian Party (SDHK) Lyudmila Sargsyan, HAK Coordinator Levon Zurabyan and chief editor of "Haykakan Zhamanak" daily Nikol Pashinyan, Mr Abrahamyan.
Commenting on the report, Mr Abrahamyan said he was only aware of the list which had been agreed upon with the HAK-member parties.
