Sittings cancelled due to lack of quorum
The Council of Elders of Armenia's northern Ijevan city was to convene extraordinary sittings on February 20 and 21.
However, the meetings were cancelled due to lack of quorum -something that has developed into a tradition in Ijevan.
Six supporters of the former mayor Varujan Nersisyan were not president at the meeting. At least 8 out of the 14 Council members were to attend the meetings to make up the quorum.
