Defense Ministry hosts operational training
A three-day operational training of the leadership of the Armed Forces kicked off at the Ministry of Defense today.
The heads of department of the Defense Ministry and the General Staff of the Armed Forces, commanders of army units, as well as the frontier troops of the National Security Service and the Police Forces participate in the training.
The operational training is aimed at improving the knowledge and skills of the operational staffs in field of military strategy, introducing the participants to the process and results of the arrangements envisaged by the RA Armed Forces development plan, as well as the foreign and domestic policy of the Republic of Armenia, presenting the details of cooperation between the Ministry of Defense and other power structures.
Lectures were delivered by Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan, Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan, Secretary of the National Security Council Arthur Baghdasaryan, Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian, Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, Colonel-General Yuri Khachaturov, other representatives of the Armed Forces.
