The February 12 mayoral elections in Hrazdan city were conducted in conformity with law, says Coordinator of the opposition Armenian National Congress (HAK) Levon Zurabyan.

"Everything was happening outside polling stations. People were invited to the condominiums and given 5 000 drams," said Mr Zurabyan who was HAK candidate Sasun Mikayelyan's proxy during the elections.
The opposition bloc is going to nominate candidates in all the constituencies of Armenia during the May parliamentary elections.

"We consider elections to be the best way to mobilize society and to convey our messages to people," he said adding that they will use any election to better life in Armenia.

On the day of elections HAK will have about 4000 proxies at polling stations, with ‘many weak, vulnerable and corrupted ones among them.'

Levon Zurabyan says the opposition is ready to collaborate with all the political forces, including the Armenian Revolutionary Federation-Dashnaktsutyun and Prosperous Armenia party (BHK) in order to hold free and fair elections in the country.
