Device for people in wheelchairs
The staff at Orange's main store now has a special innovative device that will help customers in wheelchairs enter the store. The directors of the company and CEO of Unison NGO Armen Alaverdyan tested the device today.
It is called for providing access to Orange's stores that are inaccessible to those on wheelchairs and where the construction of a ramp is impossible. When the person in a wheelchair climbs or walks down the stairs, the wheelchair is placed on the device, which helps the wheelchair move.
This Italian device is considered the best in its kind.
The major store of Orange at Northern Avenue is still the only store that has this device, but after receiving the positive responses from customers and store clerks, the company will provide other Orange stores with that device and will find other solutions like moving ramps, reports Orange Armenia's press service.
