New resolution on Syria
The UN General Assembly will vote for the new version of the resolution on Syria. The previous version will undergo certain changes due to Russia's and China's demands.
Moscow and Beijing had disagreed with the sharp demand for change of power in the text of the resolution, but it favored the UN Security Council, the Arab-European countries and the Arab League.
The Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs was in favor of putting an end to the violence in Syria, but says the government-opposition conflict should be solved through diplomacy.
The Arab countries decline Russia's changes, report Western presses, citing diplomatic sources.
The Arab countries don't accept the Russians' proposal since it "swallows" the main resolution.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of France Alen Giupe has declared that he hopes the new resolution will be of great importance and will finally put an end to the violence in Syria.
