Jhangiryan in doubt
Member of the Armenian National Congress (HAK) Gagik Jhangiryan denies the media's rumors that he will run against potential candidate of the Republican Party of Armenia (HHK), Serzh Sargsyan's former press speaker Samvel Farmanyan at precinct N 2 during the upcoming National Assembly elections through the majoritarian order.
"I can't say who made up the information about me running at N 2 precinct. I have said and repeat that the Armenian National Congress still hasn't made a decision on which candidates will run in the elections and it is still unclear as to whom the HAK will appoint in the majoritarian order. When the issue is discussed and the decision is made, the ANC will make an official statement," Gagik Jhangiryan told "A1+".
He also underlined that the HAK rules out the practice of spreading rumors about individuals' intentions to participate in the NA elections and mentioned that the rumors about the HAK candidates' nominations in the presses are aimed at creating intrigues and confusing people.
