Clown and macho: Debate turns into insults
During today's press conference at the Hayeli (Mirror) Club, Republican Party of Armenia (HHK) MP Karen Avagyan and Heritage Party MP Stepan (Styopa) Safaryan made mutual "compliments."
"Heritage Party leader Raffi Hovannisian behaves like a "political clown. By shaving his moustache and fasting, he created a real show," the Republican MP said in reply to the Heritage leader's letter to the European People's Party.
"It is you who are creating a show. By fasting or shaving Raffi Hovannisian did not intend to insult anyone," said Stepan Safaryan.
In reply, Avagyan said he wished the Heritage Party "political virility".
"And you are a macho. Should we destroy and annihilate like you?" was Safaryan's response.
