The polling stations closed in Hrazdan city at 8 o'clock. The counting of votes in presently under way, with the electoral commissions counting the ballots cast for each candidate. The commission at 25/04 polling station found that a total of 12 ballots were missing from the pile of 100 ballots.

Observers signaled there had been serious indications of ballot box stuffing and carousel.

According to the preliminary information, incumbent Mayor Aram Danielyan [Republican Party of Armenia] has received more votes than his rival Sasun Mikayelyan [Armenian National Congress].
