Snow blocks roads in Armenia
Most roads, highways and mountain passes in Armenia are passable. However, the heavy snowfall has paralyzed traffic along Selim mountain pass, Berd-Chambarak (Tavush region) and Upper Getashen-Madina highways.
The snowstorm and low visibility have made several roadways difficult to pass. Snow and ice removal activities are continuing.

The Emergency Department of Georgia's Interior Ministry reports that the traffic movement on Guduar (Posta)-Lars section of the Mtskheta-Stepandzminda-Lars highway has been banned for trailers and buses with more than 30 seats. The traffic is free for semi-trailers and other vehicles with chains.
