Statement of the "Country of Law" (OEK) press service

Two years ago, the political council of the "Country of Law" Party (OEK) nominated Deputy of the National Assembly Gagik Baghdasaryan as a Deputy from the proportional list of the political party.

However, despite numerous calls, Gagik Baghdasaryan has not been involved in any political activity throughout the past two years. The party is getting ready for elections and is forming a political team for the future.

Not showing any participation in those activities, but having great expectations, and taking into account the fact that the votes cast by MP Gagik Baghdasaryan during the votes on bills at the National Assembly don't match with the votes cast by the "Country of Law" faction and that his line of conduct doesn't correspond to the party's political course, as well as taking into account his improper behavior toward the party and its decisions, the political council of the "Country of Law" Party has decided to dismiss MP Gagik Baghdasaryan from the "Country of Law" Party.

Yesterday Baghdasaryan stayed neutral during the vote "On the Restrictions of Cash Functions" after leader of the "Country of Law" Party Heghine Bisharyan voted "for". The vote on this bill served as a reason for the tension between the Republican Party of Armenia and the Prosperous Armenia Party.

Gagik Baghdasaryan has also drawn journalists' attention to the fact that he had added 49 diamonds on his party badge and had turned it gold.

Later, Gagik Baghdasaryan told "Lragir" that he had decided to drop his mandate.
