CEC receives first certificates

The Central Election Commission (CEC) of the Republic of Armenia convened an extraordinary sitting on February 6, 2012.

The CEC adopted amendments to its 57-N decision dated August 11, 2011 and decided the order of submitting financial statements by parties.

The CEC Internal Control Service said that political parties are to present their financial statements to the Service and mass media every year, not later than March 25.

The head of the Service also said that the candidates running for mayor in the cities of Hrazdan [Kotayk marz] and Spitak [Lori marz] had submitted certificates of payments, the CEC press service reports.

The elections in the communities are ser for February 12.
