"More than 6,000 works of art and antique items have remained in the Cosa Concordia ship that was destroyed on the coasts of the Italian Gilio Island on January 14, reports the Russian "Aksakal" news website.

Nineteenth century Bohemian glass items, rare items, precious jewels and furniture had remained in the elite rooms of the ship.

Among the more precious was the rare collection of 18th-19th century Japanese gravure.

The precious jewels and many other valuable items that passengers had purchased from the jewelry halls had also remained on the ship.

The passengers of Costa Concordia left their expensive clothing and wine collections while rushing to leave the ship.

We remind that there were 4,200 tourists on board the 450-billion dollar ship at the time of the disaster, of which 17 died and 15 remain missing. Rescue efforts stopped on January 31.

Captain Francesco Schettino was to blame for the shipwreck. At the moment, he was found drunk with a Moldovan girl.

The girl confessed that she had had a love affair with the captain and that they were together at the time of the shipwreck.
