Karabakh to import coal to HES
From now on, Yerevan Hydro-Electric Station will import coal from Karabakh. This decision was taken during the government's session today.
"This program will strengthen our country's energetic security and will raise the flexibility and efficiency of the use of our energetic resources," said Prime Minister Sargsyan during the government session today.
The Prime Minister informed that the coal would be transferred from the Mghavuz region of the NKR. The Hana-Trans cargo transferring company has invested nearly 1.9 billion drams and has obtained 40 self-cleaning machines. The government says the program is very perspective.
"Armenia will have more resources that will reduce the value of the electricity that is produced," said the Prime Minister.
Minister of Economy Tigran Davtyan declared that the program would lead to the creation of dozens of jobs and underlined that "this would serve as quite a good example of domestic economic cooperation for companies in Armenia and the NKR".
