The RA Government has approved the RA President's draft decree "On the Establishment of a Consulate General of the Republic of Armenia in Odessa City of Ukraine". There are nearly 400 Armenians in Ukraine, and nearly 150-180,000 Armenians in south-east Ukraine, particularly Odessa and Crimea. The establishment of the consulate general in Odessa will provide the opportunity to organize consular services for citizens of the Republic of Armenia living in southeastern regions of Ukraine, Crimea and Moldova, which is currently difficult due to the distance from Kiev, reports the Government's press service.

By three government decisions, the territories located at Atcharyan 20/3, Moldovakan 12/1, the Arevelyan Street in Gyumri have been allocated to 10 needy residents for free use for an uncertain period and by the right to property shares.
