Armenian DM, EU envoy discuss Karabakh issue
On January 31, Armenian Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan received the EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus and the Crisis in Georgia, Ambassador Philippe Lefort.
The interlocutors discussed issues related to the settlement of the Karabakh conflict and cooperation with the European Union in the field of defense.
The officials attached importance to the measures targeted at relieving the tension at the line of contact and the implementation of confidence-building measures. In this context, they highlighted the introduction of mechanisms to investigate cases of violence on the frontline.
