"The prosecutor is making a big deal out of it." Judge of the court of general jurisdiction of Kentron and Nork-Marash districts Gagik Poghosyan accepted this statement by ANC activist Tigran Arakelyan as an offense against the court and dismissed Tigran from the courtroom.

Before that, Tigran Arakelyan had declared that the police officers had initially had the goal of putting the 7 ANC activists in a situation so that they could instigate a case against them and persecute them.

The youth activists are charged with "applying force against police officers" during a clash with police officers near Swan Lake on August 9.

Police officer Hayk Najaryan today complained that even though he had been hit by David Kiramijyan, "all the youth were active".

Tigran Arakelyan's attorney, Vahe Grigoryan petitioned to continue the "injured" police officers' interrogations only in the presence of his client, who had been dismissed by the judge.

The judge denied Vahe Grigoryan's petition, which made the attorney leave the courtroom.

Stepan Voskanyan, the attorney for the other ANC activists Sargis Gevorgyan, Artak Karapetyan and David Kiramijyan, agreed with Vahe Grigoryan and said the court wasn't creating equal conditions for the prosecutor and the defendants.

"It turns out that the defendant has to ask if the boys committed a hooligan act or not, or if the police attacked them or not," Stepan Voskanyan mentioned.

After attorney Grigoryan boycotted the trial, the judge was compelled to interrupt the session. The trial will continue on February 2.
