Ter-Petrosyan meets U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary of State
On January 26, RA First President Levon Ter-Petrosyan had a meeting with U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary of State Eric Rubin. U.S. Ambassador to Armenia John Heffern also attended the meeting.
The interlocutors discussed the current state of the Armenian-Turkish reconciliation and the process of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict settlement in the context of geopolitical developments.
Then, the sides touched upon the interior political state in Armenia, particularly the opportunities for ensuring legitimacy and transparency during the elections and attached importance to the participation of many international observatory missions in the elections.
Among other participants were Armenian National Congress coordinator Levon Zurabyan and ANC central office representative Avetis Avagyan.
