Government to hear Kajaran villagers
Deputies of the NA "Heritage" faction have addressed the government with the issue concerning Kajaran village of Syunik province.
This is what RA Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan informed during today's government session and assigned the RA Minister of Energy and Natural Resources to convene a meeting with the deputies and hear their clarifications.
We remind that the government's decision N 627-N dated 28 April 2011 caused an unprecedented commotion among the villagers. According to the decision, the lands adjacent to the community are being handed to the Zangezur Copper-Molybdenum Factory CJSC. The villagers say this program will become a reason for emigration.
