Minister: “We are pleased and are working”
The RA Minister of Defense today visited the council of the RA Union of Veterans.
RA Minister of Defense Seyran Ohanyan congratulated the veterans of the Great Patriotic War and the Artsakh liberation war in light of the 20th anniversary of the formation of the RA Armed Forces. Attending the meeting were representatives of the council of high-ranking officers of the Armenian Army's reserve.
"Today, the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia are defending the borders of our homeland, our nation's security with honor and are ready to resist all challenges facing the Republic of Armenia and the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic at any moment. Of course, we are pleased to see their achievements, but we are also seriously working on eliminating the flaws in the army," the minister said.
In light of the 20th anniversary of the formation of the RA Armed Forces, Seyran Ohanyan awarded the Medal "Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia: 20 Years" to a group of veterans of the Great Patriotic War, freedom fighters and soldiers.
