“January 23 may become a significant day”
The Youth and Nikol Aghbalyan Student Unions of the ARF-Dashnaktsutyun urge the French Senate to adopt the bill criminalizing denial of the Armenian Genocide, which protects human dignity around the world.
"January 23, 2012, may become a significant day for the Armenian people and the entire international community. We believe the French Senate will ignore Turkey's traditional hysterics. We are convinced that you step will help Turkish youth to sober up and review the history of their ancestors, making their leadership accountable for their past misdeeds.
We rely on France's justice and impartiality," reads the statement.
