EU confirms planned embargo on Iranian crude
The European Union envoys confirmed in Brussels a planned embargo on Iranian crude which will be applied from July 1, 2012.
Imports of Iranian oil will be banned in response to Tehran's refusal to halt nuclear activity.
The European Union has not made an official statement on the issue. Presumably, the structure will impose an embargo on Iranian gold as well, rbc reported.
