Armenia, Malawi sign joint statement
Permanent Representatives of Armenia and Malawi to the United Nations, Karen Nazarian and Brian Bowler, signed in Geneva a joint statement on establishing diplomatic relations between the two countries.
Being landlocked countries, Armenia and Malawi agreed to intensify contacts over the issues discussed at the UN, especially those aimed at sustainable development.
After the signing ceremony, Karen Nazarian and Brian Bowler emphasized the importance of promoting bilateral cooperation in the spheres of mutual interest.
