Harutyun Arakelyan still hasn't officially received the decision on recognizing the 20th Special Congress of the Armenian Democratic Liberal Party (Ramgavar) as invalid.

"The Ministry of Justice has breached its charter and has held an illegal proceeding. Based on that proceeding, it hasn't given an opinion, but has presented a proposal," Harutyun Arakelyan told "A1+".

We remind that Harutyun Arakelyan convened a special congress on 20 November 2011 and was elected chairman.
According to Arakelyan, after the 19th Congress, the Party was told that issues had to be cleared up.

"They told us we had to organize the 20th Congress, but now they are telling us to recognize the 20th Congress as invalid."

Arakelyan sees political motives behind all this.

"This goes to show that there is nothing being done with my studies on Nairit that cost hundreds of millions of dollars and that they are trying to pressure Harutyun Arakelyan and the state administration of the Armenian Democratic Liberal Party (Ramgavar) so that we don't participate in the upcoming parliamentary elections," says Arakelyan.

The chairman after the 19th Congress is Eduard Antinyan.
