Shots on the border
According to operative data of the Defense Army, on January 15-21 the opponent violated the ceasefire regime nearly 200 times at the line of contact of the Karabakhi-Azerbaijani conflicting forces. The frontline subdivisions of Azerbaijan's Armed Forces shot more than 1,300 times toward the Armenian positions with arms of varying diameters.
There were more frequent violations on January 18 and 19. On those days alone, the opponent violated the ceasefire regime nearly 90 times with nearly 700 shots.
The frontline subdivisions of the Defense Army, staying true to the maintenance of the ceasefire regime, mainly refrained from response operations and defended the combat positions with confidence, reports the News and Propaganda Department of the NKR Defense Army.
