Judicial system in the limelight
On January 20, President of the Artsakh Republic Bako Sahakyan partook at a festive event dedicated to the day of the workers of judicial system. Mr. Sahakyan congratulated the representatives of the sphere on the professional holiday.
In his speech, the Artsakh President underlined that the role of the judicial system and work of every officer was of utmost importance in the process of steady development and formation of civil society in the republic. Bako Sahakyan considered confidence towards the system to be among the most reliable criteria of the supremacy of law, protection of human rights and justice in the country.
He noted that during last years serious reforms had been carried out in the republic's judicial system that had a tangible impact on raising the efficiency of its activities. At the same time, President Sahakyan underlined that much is to be done. Within this context, high moral and professional qualities of judges, appropriate cadre policy, training and experience sharing are of crucial importance.
Bako Sahakyan assured that issues of assisting the system, improving working and social condition of judges would continue to remain in the spotlight of the NKR authorities, Artsakh President's press service reports.
