N. Zohrabyan: "Do not beat the table with your fist!"
Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK) MP Naira Zorabyan calls on Europeans ‘not to beat the table with their fists' when speaking to Armenian political forces.
Mrs. Zorabyan is going to voice her demand in Brussels and Strasbourg during her upcoming visit. The BHK MP expressed the intention about today's roundtable convened by the Heritage and Armenian Revolutionary Federation-Dashnaktsutyun which discussed transition to a 100-percent proportional electoral system.
Naira Zorabyan advises Europeans to retain neutrality in Armenia.
"We shall not allow European to come and speak to us by beating their fists on the table," she said.
Recall that during his meeting with Armenian delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE), PACE monitoring co-rapporteur on Armenia John Prescott was angered and beat his fist on the table when the delegation raised the issue of switching to 100-percent proportional electoral system.
